Need help finding a new book.

Oddly enough I am not a casual reader but when i do read a book I want it to be a deep meaningful book that can bring a man to tears.

I'm not a book aficionado but I do like a book with a lesson learned with some of the above characteristics, I don't know if there's any nonfiction that fits those characteristics but I do plan on reading "Where the Red Fern Grows"

And I really liked Tim O'Brien's book "The things they carried"
