Hi everybody!
I'm looking for a book that describes relationships between a female protagonist and her emotionally immature / manipulative / indifferent / emotionally negligent mother. Not a narcisist or sociopathbur still a bad mother. I would like to reward a story where the main character dealt with that and freed herself from this unhealthy relationship.
I would prefer fantasy or sci-fi
The most similar that I read is A Sorceress comes to call by T. Kingfisher. It was interesting to read how the girl was affected by her mother's treatment and how even the smallest thing was a rebellion
