This book. This boooooooook. You guys. I cannot put it down and yet I’m scared to read it too quickly so I have been setting aside 30 minute increments here and there to read little bites of it. I’ll be thinking about this book forever. And I can’t wait to read every book ever written by Octavia butler. I got the suggestion to read this book from Reddit, so thank you.

That book hits different doesn’t it, Butler has this way of making you feel like you’re seeing the future but also looking at right now. The Earthseed stuff will stick with you for months, I still catch myself thinking about “God is change” at random moments
