Hi ! I like to read romance in general but I feel like the female protagonist is always A) a sunshine character, or B) a sunshine but-shy-at-first character. I used to love it, but it's getting repetitive.
Yet, I recently read The Kiss Quotient (-H. Hoang) and Not in Love (-A. Hazelwood) and discovered I loved the composed, quiet, deadpan-humored and confident female MC. I can relate to them more.
Any suggestions?
