In the past few months I got into reading. I more so prefer fiction. I read project Hail Mary and am now finishing up Shadow of The Wind.
I was going to purchase 1984 but I heard it’s an extremely slow burn that doesn’t get all too interesting
I wanna read a Stephen King novel but have no idea where to start

If you want to do 1984 in a more condense form, the Andrew Garfield one from audible is less than 4 hours and very good. No help on SK from me, as I’ve not read much of his work
One I read recently and really enjoyed is Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. It’s a post apocalyptic story and it’s very well done. I can also vouch for the 1984 audible version, it’s pretty good
