Books You Loved from Genres You Don’t Usually Like?

I’ve been thinking of expanding my horizons.

One that I read years ago that I really liked was *REAMDE* by Neil Stephenson. Very cool, very surprisingly thoughtful and nerdy action thriller. I’m a sucker for action movies, but don’t tend to enjoy the books. I’m usually a SciFi/Fantasy/Speculative Fiction person.

I also recently edited a murder mystery, when that’s usually super duper not my thing, and really enjoyed it!
