It could be a building, factory, hospital, town or a single room – I'm open to any suggestions of this type. This is a device that has always intrigued me in writing. A classic example would be The Secret Garden. Not a huge fan of fantasy or magical realism – although a well executed (heh!) haunting could work . Bonus for an inventive narrative and a masterful literary style that entrances.
