I was always a type of person who found reading boring or some thing like that, but i guess i need to start reading instead of doomscrolling… I get easily bored if the book is not my interest. I have read Rich dad, poor dad, atomic habits and The shinning. Enjoyed it. But i need diffrenet genre like lil bit of deep thinkers the kind of stuff that makes you question the truth of life or explore human psychology. To give you an idea of my taste I'll try to explain with help of my movie watch list – dead poet society, into the wild, good will hunting, whiplash, f** club and some haunted… please help me to find the type of novels i can have interest in.. it could be either Exciting( can't put it down list) or Solitude/deep thinking list. Please suggest some it would be really helpful.

Project Hail Mary is very exciting, and pulled me in right from the start, and I’m not normally a scifi person! The audiobook narrated by Ray Porter is especially good.
Some of these are based on books! I loved reading Into the Wild and Fight Club.
The Death of Ivan Ilych is a good introduction to Russian literature, which can fulfill that desire for more ‘cerebral’ books, and it’s very short. It’s a meditation on what makes a life ‘well lived.’
Some of my favorite novels read in the last year are The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa, Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, and Sandkings by George R. R. Martin! Sandkings is such a fun read, and the shortest of the three.
You may like Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury if you’re a fan of horror as well.
