I’m looking for a can’t-put-it-down historical fiction. It can have some fantasy aspects (recent enjoyed Golem and the Jinni) or something purely based in reality (loved Lonesome Dove). Just something where the time and place are a core part of the story. A female lead is a plus but not necessary.
