I adore animals, specifically right now I would love to read about birds, but I will take any non-fiction recs. I do have a learning disability so books with pictures, on the shorter side, or about topics that are aligned with my special interests are particularly helpful to me in getting through certain reads.
In the past, non-fiction books that I've enjoyed were on topics like nature, psychology, animals, self-help, art, mythology, and the metaphysical (although I've kind of burned myself out on the last one).
And some books I've enjoyed in the past are Ornithography By Jessica Roux, The Age of Deer by Erika Howsare (though this was a bit dry for me), Keep Going by Austin Kleon, and the Nature Anatomy books by Julia Rothman.
Hopefully this gives you a good idea of the general vibe I usually go for! Again, books about birds or nature would be nice, but I'm willing to try out anything you might think is a good fit 🙂
