emotionally devastating books?

hi!! so i read the starless sea by erin morgenstern recently and it completely changed my life! im obsessed with it, it wrecked my life for several weeks—darian and zachary were soo tragic! im currently reading the night circus but i would really love any recommendations similar to the starless sea!!
