I have been into reading for a while now. Some of my favorites are the Red Rising series, many of Blake Crouch’s works like Upgrade and Recursion, Rabbits by Terry Miles, Deep Dive by Ron Walter’s etc etc. I also am a huge fan of the Orphan X series. I’m in a rut now and am having a hard time starting a book and sticking with it. Hyperion was my latest DNF, i just couldn’t get through the different narratives regardless of how much praise the book got. I need a recommendation for a standalone book or a short series. Something that i won’t need to commit a month or two for finishing the whole series. I enjoy Thrillers, love Sci-Fi (although that’s optional) and NEED action. Something to grasp my attention and hold on to it from start to finish. A little romance is always appreciated as well as a good mystery. Thank you!
