Looking for a really really weird read – I guess absurdist would be the word? Something weird in the way Salad Fingers or Smiling Friends are weird. Bizarre to the point of being unsettling is a plus
Ive tried Gormenghast and it was entertaining in some parts, dry in others.

Vurt by Jeff noon to some degree. Chuck pahlaniuk does some absurdity in his stuff, at least lullaby and choke had some of that… ana kavan wrote a slipstream novel called ice like a billion years ago that has a part in found quite hilarious where a car basically does a cartwheel. The decameron and Canterbury tales got some fuckin wild shit. For comics… God hates astronauts is pretty much exactly what youre looking for. Also Dr ninja. Perry bible fellowship comics are also worth finding.
John Dies at the End is probably the closest vibe I’ve read. Chaotic, gross, funny, and genuinely weird in that same absurd way.
Terry Pratchett is good for nonstop surreal humor. If you like the Smiling Friends’ office shenanigans you might enjoy Going Postal, which is about a magical post office that keeps running into bizarre obstacles.
