Times are frightening, and I needa touch some grass lol- I’m moving to a new area with tons of woodlands and nature, and I wonder the ways of old and how people have survived for so long in places like these. Any good book recs like survival guides, poisonous plants/ how to tell if something’s edible, useful inventions you can build, what people used to build, etc.

I got my husband “The Bug-In Guide” and it’s pretty cool.
My Side of the Mountain by Jean George. It’s fiction, but it’s the story of a boy living off the land in the woods. Lots of useful information and illustrations.
