Historical fiction about a fighter or a warrior

Hello,

I'm looking for a historical fiction that focuses on a warrior or fighter a character or characters whether it’s a he or she.

Mostly interested if they’re morally grey or it’s fine if they’re fighting for justice too. I basically want to read something different and unique. a different perspective on life and why they are fighting.

I know its fiction but i do want some real events in the book.

please help me out im in a slump and im tired of fantasy romance literary etc.
