Hi friends, I am looking for some books on postpartum/ motherhood/ accepting the "new" me. I'm 2 months postpartum with my second and I'm trying to understand myself, my feelings, the context of everything going on hormonally/ emotionally ect. Learning to split myself between my children, and also make time for me is proving difficult.
I recently read an article about Matrescence by Lucy Jones in Good Housekeeping so that is on my list so far!
I'm open to anything if you think it captures the idea (memoir, non-fiction, fiction.) If you have any suggestions please send them my way! Thanks!

Push Ashley Audrain
tho its more of a regretting motherhood/thriller
La Figlia Oscura by Elena Ferrante
I wish matriesence was more talked about and accepted as an idea. The book is great! The shift from maiden to mother is a significant fracturing and rebuilding of the self and I believe that PPD is often a natural grief process around these changes.
Some of my favorite books around motherhood are Nurture the Wow by Tanya Ruttenberg and Mitten Strings for God by Katrina Kenison.
I’ve heard great things about Invisible Labor by Rachel Somerstein.
