I'm looking for a fiction book that touches upon the isolation brought upon by car-dependent suburbia. Bonus points if it's set in the late 2010s or early 2020s and discusses contemporary political issues. I've read Squeeze Me by Carl Hiaasen and enjoyed it, but I'm looking for one specifically about suburbs. Does anyone have any recommendations?
