I really like his style of guidebooks for Adobe software and similar, which have a visual style (screenshots etc.) and are non-linear in the sense that the reader can skip to the chapter relevant to what they are trying to do e.g. making tables in Adobe InDesign.
Unfortunately Steve seems to have stopped writing them as what is available is very outdated. Information about him is hard to find due to the common name.
