I’ve tried some samples of a few basic books on Buddhism, but they haven’t been as practical as what I’ve heard and read from the monks during their walk. They seemed to have simple advice that resonated with everyday modern life such as- don’t look at your phone when you wake up, instead, neatly make your bed, go to the bathroom without your phone, then write a mantra and connect it to your body and mind.
I don’t need the entire book to be step-by-step advice, of course, but I do like the detailed guidance.
I’m looking forward to your recommendations, this is one of my favorite subs!
