I hate flying, but I got a 4 hour flight early next week. My go-to drug for flying is a good book. Something that gets me lost in the book and makes me forget about being crammed in a too-small seat.
Best books i've read while flying in the past few years-
- Lonesome Dove (a re-read after 20 years) – currently working through the series (again)
- Where the Crawfish Sing (read it all in 1 sitting, DFW to Guam)
- Elanor Olyphant (DFW to Guam- same flight!)
- Shadow Divers (currently on a re-read from my last flight)
- Dungeon Crawler Carl. (silly junk I could not put down)
Looking for a 3-10 hour read I can't put down. I read mostly non-fiction (Hot Zone!), but love GOOD fiction (Follet).
All suggestions welcome. Currently reading "Why, Gary, Why?" about the abuse/kidnapping of Jody Plauche.
Yeah, I'm all over the place, I know.
