can you suggest me books to read

hello! sooo i mostly watch anime, shows, movies and barely read. however as im getting older i start to lose interest in everything new that is coming out and i realised i never gotten into reading books that much and i want to try it. my interests are i like everything that is peak, fav thing i read (u can hardly say that is reading) but it would be manga berserk. i wouldnt want to read a book that already has an adaption like a movie (unless it is extremely bad). anything dark that makes you think or romance would be alright. i dont have any strict preference. i also wouldnt want to start with anything that is crazy on the language my english is around B2-C1 levels so i need to work my way up. yes i am a complete noob so u can suggest any big books that everyone heard of (i did not read them trust me). thank you in advance <3
