I want to reread a great series and can’t figure out what the name of the book was and it’s driving me crazy. It is a mafia romance series.
1st book is starts off where the fmc meets the mmc in a bar during a bachelorette party for her step sister. During the bachelorette party she lost a bet (maybe poker) and offered double or nothing so she wouldn’t lose her deceased mother’s ring. The girl, Mallory (not the fmc)bet that she cant get a random guy that she chooses to go home with her or she will lose her mother’s ring. Mallory points out the guy and the fmc says deal. She goes up and talks to him and they end up leaving together. He takes her back to his safe house and they laid in bed together and she holds him while he cries, mourning the lives of his mother and brother. The next day is her step sisters wedding and was told that the guy she left with was a mafia boss and is very dangerous and to promise to never see him again. She agrees and ends up leaving the reception and goes back to his house. They start seeing each other. The fmc and her stepsister go out shopping and end up arguing, stepsister saying that she doesn’t know what she has gotten herself into. They go to a bar where they are told to get in the back of the line and she mouths off and says I’m the wife of (insert name) and she is sleeping with (insert name of mob boss) and they let them right in. While inside and drinking the bar is attacked and the fmc is kidnapped and taken to the docks. Mmc finds her and kills the guy holding a gun to her head while trying to drag her to a boat for them to escape. Fmc freaks out and won’t let him get close to her because who she sees in front of her is not the same man she fell in love with. She asks for the second in command (I think his name is Frankie) to help her and he carries her out of the docks. A bit later mmc and fmc go to Italy to get married at his uncle’s estate. They are wanted by the police and come up with a plan to gather info on who killed his mother and brother while in prison. A few days later the mmc and his second in command fly back to the states to turn themselves in and they get arrested when the wheels touch down in the states. They get the info needed and get out of jail.
2nd book is about the second in command (I think his name is Frankie) and his love interest who is on the run from a childhood marriage contract that her father signed to a ruthless mafia boss. She ran away with the help of her now deceased mother. She is working at a mafia fight club where she meets mmc. Fmc is taken by the man she is contracted to marry and his men. They hold her in a house and have 30+ men guarding her to keep her from running away. The mmc tracks her down and kills all of the men and blows up the house. They escape on his motorcycle and stay the night at the hotel owned by the man she is contracted to marry. They find them and a shootout occurs. They escape and make it back to his city.
3rd book is the story about the stepsister and her husband.
