I got my husband the first book of Dungeon Crawler Carl for the holidays, and he got hooked. He’s almost through the whole series and his birthday is coming up, so I want to get him a new book/series for his birthday. Any suggestions? He listens to audiobooks so those with that option are preferred.

The Noobtown series has a similar vibe. I listened to the first few on audio.
Not quite the same since it’s not as silly, but I think he might get a kick out of h{{The Perfect Run}}. It’s a very well done time loop series with superhero elements. I’m not usually into superheroes but enjoyed this quite a lot. Plus, the audiobook narrator is excellent.
Murderbot
He might enjoy the Old Man’s War series by John Scalzi
Guards, Guards by Terry Pratchett, first of the City Watch books. Satirical fantasy with a lot of heart and awesome characters.
There is a pretty big crossover with DCC fans and Dresden Files fans. And the Narrator of the Audiobooks is James Marsters or Spike from Buffy.
Stray Cat Strut
