Several books on this sub are overrepresented. I personally liked Rebecca a lot. I think it’s one of the best thrillers I’ve ever read and I loved the ending. The book that pops up here more than that, which I really liked but don’t think it was as great as people claim: Lonesome Dove.

I don’t know about the people on this sub, but my personal anecdote I can offer is that the two people that I’ve met who said Rebecca was their favorite book hadn’t read another book since high school.

I found Rebecca an intriguing character and I enjoyed learning more about her as the story unfolded. I also enjoyed the description of the house and its souroundings and the weird situation the narrator was in.
