Red Rising series is definitely worth it if you want something completely different from romance. Pierce Brown creates this insane world that starts like Hunger Games but becomes way more complex with each book. The first book can feel bit slow in beginning but once you get to the middle part, it’s impossible to put down.
I read the whole series last year and was completely hooked – stayed up until 3am multiple nights because I couldn’t stop reading. The characters are really well developed and the plot gets darker and more political as it goes on. If you’re looking for break from romance, this will definitely give you that. Just be prepared for some heavy emotional moments, Pierce Brown doesn’t hold back with killing characters you care about.

If you want a break from typical romance, Red Rising by Pierce Brown is totally worth it, it’s gritty sci-fi with rebellion, politics, and serious world-building. Alchemized is cool too but if you want something different and intense, go Red Rising first.

Yep, 6 books so far and one more coming. You can honestly treat the first 3 as a complete arc if the full series feels like too much. It starts kind of Hunger Games vibes but gets way bigger scope after. If you want action and drama over romance, this will do it.
