Finished this one a few weeks ago and missing the world it dropped me into. I really enjoyed the full cast of characters whose personalities and thoughts you got to sit with, the strain of family dynamics that wasn’t too dark or twisted, and the intelligent observation of what the world has become since 2016. I thought it was thoughtful and insightful with enough humor to keep it from being triggering. I’ve read Beautiful Ruins by him before and am not sure if any of his other novels would scratch the itch.

For what it’s worth, I absolutely loved Walter’s CITIZEN VINCE.
