    Hi All,

I'm just about to finish Stephen Kings Dark Tower series. I've really enjoyed this long journey through a strange land. I will miss it.

I'm looking for a book that is an adventure where the journey is a big part of the story. Anything through a fantasy or wasteland, bonus points for underground adventures 🙂

I wont list my previous read, as I'm happy to take all suggestions.
    Thank you.

    1. The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien

The Stand by Stephen King and The Long Walk by Richard Bachman (his pseudonym)

    2. For a really epic, detailed, journey through a rich, diverse fantasy world, check out The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, starting with The Eye of the World.

    3. The Stand by Stephen King

A couple of post apocalyptic series that are underground but don’t necessarily include long journeys because underground are:

The Silo series by Hugh Howey

The Metro series by Dmitry Glukhovsky

    4. *A Wind Named Amnesia* by Hideyuki Kikuchi. It was released with one of Kikuchi’s other novels as *A Wind Named Amnesia/Invader Summer* in the US.
