    1. 10 Minutes 38 Seconds In This Strange World does this. It also catches up to the present moment and then follows what happens after.

    2. Seven Blades in Black by Sam Sykes.

      (Adding the caveat that Sykes was accused of, admitted to, and apologized for harassing women in 2020. I’m not making any assertions on the separating-art-from-artist front, nor judging people for whatever side of that debate they choose; it’s just a book that I read prior to said accusations that meets the criteria, plus information that would be disqualifying to some readers.)
