hi all!
keeping with the season i’ve been in the mood to read about love lately. i would like to preface this request by saying i don’t particularly want to read smut/erotic fiction right now.
i really want to read something that features a love story! it can end unhappily as long as it’s compelling (although i suppose i would like to read something with a happy ending!) and i will read literally any genre as long as it features a romantic relationship that makes my heart ache. it can be a 900 page scifi epic and i will read it if you believe in the love between character A and character B.
my favourite jane austen novel is persuasion (maybe the greatest love story of all time?) and my favourite queer book is the charioteer by mary renault, if that’s any indication of my tastes. i love devotion and pining from afar, but i’ll read anything as long as it’s well written!! thank you so much in advance 🙂
