Hello, I'm in a guy in my mid 20's and bi. I want to read more stories about queer people. It's a way for me to feel connected to the community. Which, as a bi man, I sometimes don't feel queer enough to be part of. I also want to explore important, or resonant works made by members of the community.
It doesn't have to be specifically about male queerness, or bisexuality. Two of the best books that I've read along the lines of what i'm after have both been about being trans (detransition, baby and stone butch blues). But I would appreciate some books that might resonate more with my experiences, along the lines of those.
I gravitate toward literary fiction, I guess. I'm also a horror fan and not against some horror related recs (I read The Sluts by Dennis Cooper last year which I thought was excellent). As long as it's well-written and not too schlock-y, i'm generally in.
If anyone has any non-fiction recommendations, that would also be appreciated. I'm casting a wide net here.
Thanks 🙂

Not quite a perfect fit, but it sounds like you’d appreciate *Other Terrors: An Inclusive Anthology* by Vince A. Liaguno and Rena Mason.
I don’t think there’s anything specific to bi men, but it’s a great collection of horror/spec-fi short stories from marginalized perspectives, including a lot of queer content.
