Title is silly but I am 22 and never really read a book and just now I realised I might be missing out here watching only movies. A friend lent me Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros saying its amazing so I gave it a shot. Im around page 100 which is nothing I know, but Im a dude I feel like the dragons in this will be super cool, but I dont care for the romance. I would like some cool ass fantasy stories to read so I just bought a kindle.
What I’m looking at after I read this:
– Cradle series
– The Broken Empire trilogy
– Percy Jackson and the olympians ( might be out of theme but I love greek mythology and never seen the films)
– Overlord LN
– Dungeon Crawler Carl
– The Rage of Dragons
I have not read any of these of course but they cought my interest from the desription and covers. Any recommendations are appreciated!

dude you picked some solid choices. cradle is absolutely addictive once it gets going – the magic system is chef’s kiss and the progression hits different. broken empire might be a bit dark for starting out but jorg is a fascinating protagonist if you can stomach the brutality.
dungeon crawler carl is hilarious and will suck you in hard, plus it’s got that video game vibe that’s easy to follow. since you’re just getting into reading i’d maybe start with that or cradle before diving into the heavier stuff.
Red Rising series is awesome. I really like Lies of Locke Lamora and I am really looking forward to the rest of that series!
