“Flying Solo” was a book my teacher read to us in I think the fifth grade. It was honestly pretty deep for a kids book and explored the aspect of grief.
“The Girl Who Owned A City” was my favorite in middle school. It was pretty dystopian and intense but I liked it. A virus kills all the adults and only children survive.
