The main character has magic/magical powers in a sci-fi/space setting

I've been really interested in the concept of science fantasy or space fantasy lately and I'm curious if this specific type of story exists

are there any books where the setting is a sci-fi universe where they travel to different worlds and there's aliens and sci-fi monsters but there's also magic? and not in the science so advanced it might as well be magic but like actual magic that comes from within the characters and magical creatures or maybe it comes from the universe, mystical dimensions stuff like that and it's completely separate from the science fiction stuff in explanation pretty much if fantasy magic was in space

the magic being more rare would be preferred too but I wanna read a book where the main character cam do magic or has magical based powers in a sci-si setting
