First off I'm not an experienced reading, honestly I never really read a book outside was I needed for school.
Recently have been fully recovered from a car accident and want to get my life back in order starting with picking up some good habits. Its been a hard period for me and I notice I struggle mentally and health wise. So I think books that could help me with those would be nice. I've been looking online but I have no clue what would be actually good.
Besides that I would also like something to read for fun. In general I really enjoy fantasy so something in that setting would be nice. But I would prefer something that is easy to read as I'm not a fast or easy reader.
If anyone would have any recommendations that would be very much appreciated.

There are so many titles to choose from.
I know you mentioned “fantasy”, but personally I always recommend “new readers” to try [The Martian] by Andy Weir.
It is technically a sci-fi novel, but the science stuff is grounded yet relatively easy to follow.
But the reason why I recommend this book is that it is very funny and has a lot of heart.
Andy Weir also wrote “Project Hail Mary” which is somewhat in a similar vein, and there is a movie adaptation coming soon.
As for “fantasy fantasy”,
A classic and easy to read is The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. With that said, the language can take a while to get used to, it is still English but not quite as our current modern language.
Brandon Sanderson’s original Mistborn Trilogy, starting with The Final Empire (or just Mistborn in some edition) is a frequent recommendation, and I don’t disagree with
