Danielle Steel vibes to get mum back into reading

Hi everyone,

My mum used to be an avid reader but has lost the habit. She says she used to like Danielle Steel stuff to get her out of a slump. I know she still publishes stuff but I was wondering if you’d recommend similar authors or vibes that are more current?
