I am canceling my Audible (trying this budgeting thing) and I have two credits – looking for something new (to me). Could be any genre really, I like fiction, biography, history, self-help.
Looking for something fresh and super immersive, mandatory great story, a big plus if it's well-produced and well-narrated.
Some of the stuff I've read/heard lately: All of Tolkien, All of Pierce Brown, Orson Scott Card, Patrick Rothfuss, Much of Erik Larson, "Read Your Mind" by Oz Pearlman, 7 Essential Habits.."
Your recs are much appreciated!

Werner herzog narrates his own most recent book and it’s amazing
The First Law series by Joe Abercrombie, starting with The Blade Itself. Dark, gritty, funny, character-driven fantasy. You can tell the author is a fan of classic stuff like Tolkien, but is having a lot of fun bringing a more sardonic, cynical, tone to it, and playing with a lot of classic tropes. The narration by Steven Pacey is absolutely top tier.
