George Lass is a deeply apathetic, emotionally numb, socially alienated young woman who is completely lost in life. She has no direction, no long-term goals, dropped out of college, and works a dead-end, meaningless job she doesn’t care about.
She deliberately avoids expectations to avoid disappointment and actively avoids experiences. She even states that, in the end, all you really have are experiences, and she’s spent most of her life trying not to have them. She moves through life on autopilot, keeping emotional distance from everything.
she has a flat, deadpan inner voice and a constant sense of boredom with life. She sees things in a very detached, almost administrative way. She’s cynical but not charming, sarcastic without trying to be funny, and socially disconnected without being quirky. She has no interest in self-improvement or finding meaning.
