I'm looking for this book to give to a girl I know (it's nothing romantic, she's just a friend). I'd like to know if there are any books whose protagonists or main characters are people who bring the sun.
It’s very dated but Pollyanna by Eleanor Porter is a book about a young girl who spreads joy in everyone’s life by playing something she calls the “Glad Game”. I’m going to be honest, I found her smug and annoying but it is considered a classic book in American children’s literature.
