Hi everyone I’m looking for a lit fiction book (doesn’t need to be lit fiction, I love fantasy and nonfiction essays/memoir as well) where it follows an mc (or 2) who is somewhat clumsy and takes life for what it is, instead of overthinking and overcomplicating everything little thing.
A great example of a character like this is Selin from “The Idiot” by Elif Batuman, in case you’ve read this book.
I find that these types of books help me to stop overthinking everything, as they offer a fresh perspective from the POV of someone who lives day by day without worrying about the future too much.
