Hi yall,
Recently read Perry Anderson's book on the beginning of european feudalism. There are some interesting ideas in that book but very few details. I want to learn the lay of the land – get familiar with all the states and laws and dynasties and whatnot. Looking for boring dry details more than interpretation. Any recs?

A Distant Mirror: The Calamitous 14th Century by Barbara W. Tuchman is one of the best medieval history books I’ve ever read.
Georges Duby __ “Guerreros y campesinos” __”El caballero, la mujer y el cura”
Jacques Le Goff __”la civilización del Occidente medieval”
