Hello everyone, I'm hoping to get some true crime recommendations from the past 5-8 years. I run a true crime book discussion group and feel like I'm running stale. I try to vary my books so that it's not the same topic too often and I try to keep them less than 500 pages. Books that I've done recently/are doing soon include:
*The Mother Next Door- Andrea Dunlop (Munchausen by proxy syndrome)
*The Sinners All Bow- Kate Winkler Dawson (historical murder investigation)
*Gator Country- Rebecca Renner (poachers)
*House of My Mother- Shari Franke (child abuse, religious abuse [maybe there's a better way to phrase that])
*The Con Queen of Hollywood- Scott C. Johnson (white collar, fraud, identity theft)
*Murder in the Dollhouse- Rich Cohen (missing person/murder)
*Savage Appetites- Rachel Monroe (social science?)
Thanks in advance!
