Hello! I'm looking for a book with darker themes – interpret that as you will, but I expect a main character who is doing something immoral – and an emphasis on world-building. Sci-fi, fantasy, or other varieties of speculative fiction are very welcome. My one 'no' is straight romance – I understand that dark romance is a big sub-genre, but I can really only get into romance when it's queer.
