Looking for a book whose prose is the equivalent of Jonathan Safran Foer's 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,' but with a first person protagonist that's about +10 years older. Essentially, a book whose language really captures the internal monologue/language of it's main character, who in this case is a jaded teenager/young adult, instead of a curious young boy.

Cather in the Rye is maybe the closest I've been able to find, but looking for something with a more distinct voice. The more jaded the voice is, the better.

I suppose it doesn't necessarily have to be 1st person, as long as the prose is infused with 'teenager.' Anything would be great!
