I am looking for sapphic (or just women-oriented, but with no F/M romance) books that are a bit dark and mysterious. Supernatural stuff is welcome, like vampires. I am also not looking for romance in particular. Like, I want a plot beyond two characters getting together.
Rainy weather and fog and bogs/heavy nature imagery are a welcome extra.
Something like The Starving Saints by Catilin Starling or Blood on Her Tongue by Johanna van Veen.

I was immediately about to suggest Blood on Her Tongue until you mentioned it lol. You might like Johanna van Veen’s other book, My Darling Dreadful Thing. It has been a while since I read that so I can’t recall the ending but I don’t think it was tragic?
