Within the past year, I have gotten really into reading classics of all kinds; however, my favorite ones tend to be those that have strong themes and moral lessons. My favorite classic I have read thus far has been East of Eden, but I also heavily annotated and enjoyed other thought-provoking reads like The Prophet, Frankenstein, Crime and Punishment, etc.
I am looking for more of those classics that contain a lot of profound thought related to humanity and morality, because I find that I tend to highlight and write in stories like these the most. Or really any thought-provoking classic that really made you think and challenged your mind. Thank you!
