I used to believe timing was just an excuse people gave when they didn’t fight hard enough.
Now I know timing can destroy something beautiful without either person doing anything wrong.
We didn’t break up because we stopped loving each other.
We broke up because life pulled us in different directions at the worst possible moment.
She was choosing stability.
I was still building mine.
We had late-night calls that felt like home.
Plans that felt permanent.
Promises we truly meant.
But love doesn’t pause the world.
Responsibilities don’t wait for your heart to catch up.
The hardest part?
There was no villain.
No cheating.
No betrayal.
Just two people who loved each other deeply…
one minute too soon.
Sometimes I wonder what would’ve happened if we had met a year later.
Would we still be strangers?
Or would we have made it?
Has anyone else experienced “right person, wrong time”?
