Sci Fi / Fantasy Adventure Series that emphasizes friendship

Hey y'all,

I'd like to find a sci fi / fantasy series that emphasizes friendship and community over chosen one narratives and individualism. A lot of my favorite JRPGs are like this (Dragon Quest, Persona, Final Fantasy), same with the anime I tend to enjoy (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Cowboy Bebop, Digimon), and of course there's the Guardians of the Galaxy and Lord of the Rings trilogies, even though that latter group splinters off at the end of the first.

I really just want an escapist adventure quest narrative with either sci fi or fantasy elements that's all about the bonds of friendship. I really do love the "defeating God through the power of friendship" narratives found in videogames. It can have chosen one elements, but the emphasis is on the group dynamic overall. I'll take manga or comic book suggestions, but I'd prefer fiction or novel recommendations primarily. Thanks!
