Have kinda been rereading Ancient Magus' Bride, and well… it makes me crave a book like this but without the whole, romance stuff? Female MC preferred but not a need.
In lengthy term: A book where the legends/myths/folk tales and so on are true, and they are hidden in plain sight but humans and what the supernaturals do always affect one another kind of thing.
Hope there's any that's written really good and has great worldbuilding and magic woven in as well, thank you for any recs everyone.
(I have read Emily Wilde series by the way if anyone wants to recommend it, it's REALLY good and I can recommend it to others, just be warned that it got romance even if this one I think is the few series with excellent romance that's just well-done)
