Hi! I'm looking for books that aren't necessarily super intense or high stakes, but have some type of adventure/exploration/travel with a female protagonist.
I really love Dickens and Sherlock Holmes, but I'm looking for something a little more modern and not from a male perspective. Movies/TV shows that have the vibe I'm looking for are Nomadland, X-Files, Columbo, and Poker Face. I don't really know how to search exactly what I'm looking for so I hoped that people might have some suggestions! 🙂
I'm also not typically a huge fan of fantasy, I like to feel like what's happening in the story could theoretically happen to me haha. Thank you!!
