My best friend I met on exchange is from California and got me the book braiding sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer which was incredible (highly recommend!). It talked about the intersections between native american indigenous knowledge and culture and how we can learn from and apply this knowledge in ecology and environmental practices. The writing was beautiful and she weaved her own personal stories throughout which I really enjoyed. I’m looking for a book that is similar yet from an indigenous australian perspective (as I am from australia and want to share that part of our history and culture!) My friend also studies political science and gender studies so such themes could also be the focus. any recommendations would be greatly appreaciated thankyou!
